Is Eva Green Jewish?

Eva Green

Well, to make a long story short, Eva Green is Jewish!

Since Eva Green's mother is Jewish, and in Orthodox Judaism and Conservative Judaism, those with a Jewish mother (or those who underwent a halakhic conversion) are considered Jewish, then that makes her Jewish. Her father is not Jewish.

Eva Green was born on 6 July 1980 in Paris, France.

She appeared in Ridley Scott's historical epic Kingdom of Heaven (2005), and portrayed Bond girl Vesper Lynd in the James Bond film Casino Royale (2006). In 2006, Green was awarded the BAFTA Rising Star Award. She has also appeared in the television series Camelot (2011) and in Showtime's horror drama Penny Dreadful. Her performance in the series earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a Television Series – Drama at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards.
