Volodymyr Zelensky is a Ukrainian politician and former comedian and actor who has served as the sixth president of Ukraine since 2019. In 2021, there was a rise in tensions between his administration and Russia which eventually reached a critical point in February 2022 when a complete invasion by Russia was initiated.
